Why men can't compare two girls seen at different times

Assume that a man sees girl 1 on day 1. Let it generate 100 pleasure molecules in amygdala(emotional part of the brain). We do not have exact measuring instruments in brain to register the number 100. An approximate image and descriptions of the girl will be stored in, say, Neuron Group 1(NG1).

On day 2, he sees girl 2. Let it generate 90 pleasure molecules in amygdala. Now the man tries to compare girl 2 with girl 1. We have NG1 which projects the approximate image of girl 1. Amygdala may generate 80 molecules for the approximate images of girl 1. And we have Neuron Group 2(NG2) which compares the approximate image of girl 1 and the now present image of girl 2. ( Actually NG2 compares the signals generated by Amygdala for approximate images of girl 1 and the now present images of girl 2)

Though, in reality, girl 1 looks more prettier than girl2 for the man, the fact that he could only use the approximate images of girl1 screws up the results of the comparison.

Moral of the story: Better to keep the girls side by side when doing the comparison. ( Don' know if this will create other problems)

Note: I had seen the Telugu film "Nuvostanante Neodhantana" (which is the original of Tamil remake "Something something") where Siddharth will try to recollect the image of Trisha thrice. He could only get approximate image of Trisha. That made me extend my idea to all men.

What a great research. Might think you are doing PH D in this.

Hey, this might be true therotically. I have come cross similar problem recently when my parents were searching for Bride. I think i saw around 7 to 10 girls at 10 different places. But i alway felt girls who i saw first was good looking...
Any data has metadata(data about data like size of file, date of creation)
I suspect:
brain stores "pleasure units" and other metadat along with the girls image.
So when brain tries to compare two girls, i have a choice to do
a) image comparision
b) generated pleasure unit comparision.
c) totally different way(s)
d) more than one comparision and a final summary.

I suspect brain does method b by default than method a.

I just wrote this idea to kindle new ideas in others. My idea would most probably need to be changed in a major way to reflect the reality. And anyway I don't have any great evidence for my idea. :-)

I too like the idea of pleasure unit comparision rather than image comparision.

I would also be biased towards a process which is a combination both these ways or it could be a combination of multiple other ways also.

After all our brain is just a Neural network and thousands of neurons may be interacting together to do this comparision. Also there are lakhs of connections between these neurons. So we should not be surprised if there are many different ways of comparision.
100 pleasure units, 90 pleasure units... Also there may be traces of some charges left, both +ve and -ve, from previous and parallel, experiences and thoughts. So it could be possible that the man might have just seen a pleasant movie with a very happy ending before seeing girl-1, but might have been fired before seeing girl-2.

I do agree that our current state of mind has a direct effect on what we see. In fact we only see what we expect to see. And the problem is that every moment we only expect certain things and we only see those. If this is the case, we can never expect to compare two girls accurately. Then how can a person ever expect to find his single soulmate out of the 33 crore girls ( Assuming we select only from 10% of girls from the total women population )
No man can meet 33 crore girls before selecting his soulmate? And not required also. I think atleast 30 crore girls would be compatible enough.
